The Toyota UR engine family is a 32-valve quad-camshaft V8 piston engine series which was first introduced in 2006, starting with the 1UR-FSE engine with D-4S direct injection for the 2007 xb Lexus LS. The series launched with a die-cast aluminum block, aluminum heads, and magnesium cylinder covers. All UR engines feature variable valve timing for both intake and exhaust cams or Dual VVT-i. Timing chains are used to drive the camshafts. The UR engine has been engine produced in 4.6, 5.0, and 5.7 liter displacement versions.
- The 2UR-FSE is a 5.0 liter xb (4969 cc) engine and powers xb the Lexus LS600h. It has D-4S gasoline direct injection, Dual VVT-i, and VVT-iE on the intake cam. It has the same bore and stroke as the 2UR-GSE, but produces 394 PS (389 hp/290 kW) at 6,400 RPM and 53 kg•m (520 N•m; 383 ft•lbf) at 4,000 RPM. The electric motors (Lexus Hybrid Drive)in the system add extra power into the drivetrain, allowing the combination todeliver 327 kilowatts (439 hp) in total engine xb.
About 250 million vehicles are in the xb engine United States. Around the world, there were engine about 806 million xb cars and light trucks on the road in 2007; they burn over 260 billion gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel yearly. The xb numbers are increasing rapidly, especially in China and India. Urban transport systems based around the car have proved un sustainable, consuming excessive energy, affecting the health of populations, and delivering a declining level of service despite increasing xb investments. Many of these negative impacts fall disproportionately on those social groups who are also least likely to own and drive xb engine cars The sustainable transportmovement focuses on solutions to these problems engine xb.
The British motor industry has always been export oriented]. Today it employs about 850,000 people and produces about 1.5 million cars and 216,000 commercial vehicles per year, 75% of which are exported. The top five UK car producers are Nissan, Toyota,Honda, MIN land Land Rover.[10] However, international competitiveness of UK cars have declined consistently xb since the 1990s and the country became unable to sustain production on par with Germany or France xb.
